Job summary

Seagull Schools Inc. in Kapolei, HI, is hiring an Infant Toddler Caregiver to support the Lead Caregiver in creating a safe, nurturing environment for young children.

You will help plan and deliver age-appropriate activities, monitor progress, and ensure emotional and developmental needs are met while maintaining classroom order. The role requires meeting state licensing requirements, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must meet state childcare licensing requirements: Medical, TB, and criminal history clearance.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain NAEYC Accreditation Standards and practices.
• Comply with Hawaii DHS licensing rules.
• Support lead caregiver by working with individuals or small groups of children.
• Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities and materials.
• Assess and document student progress and behavior.
• Provide physical care such as feeding, diapering, and nap-time support.
• Promote a safe, respectful learning environment and enforce school policies.
• Communicate with students, teachers, and parents to support learning objectives.
• Keep classroom organized and clean; manage supplies and resources.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
