Seagull Schools in Kapolei, HI is hiring an Infant Toddler Caregiver to support the Lead Caregiver and provide a safe, nurturing environment for young children. You will plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate activities while maintaining classroom order and addressing emotional and developmental needs.

The role requires meeting state licensing requirements for infant/toddler caregivers, CPR/First Aid certification, and physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• Meet state childcare licensing requirements for infant/toddler caregivers.

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain NAEYC Accreditation Standards and practices.
• Comply with Hawaii DHS licensing rules.
• Work with individuals or small groups of children as directed by the lead caregiver.
• Assist in planning and implementing educational activities and materials.
• Assist in documenting student progress and behavior.
• Provide feeding, diapering, and nap-time support.
• Monitor student behavior and enforce school policies for safety.
• Communicate with students, teachers, and parents to support learning objectives.
• Help maintain classroom organization and cleanliness.
• Follow school policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality.
• Be responsive to children's needs and use positive modeling.
