Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a part-time childcare assistant to supervise and care for children in a small setting. You will greet families, assist with daily routines, and organize playtime while ensuring safety and cleanliness throughout the shift.

The role emphasizes alertness, patience, and strong communication with parents and team members. Work hours include morning and evening slots, with shifts from 8 a.m. to noon and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and varied weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Be enthusiastic and constantly alert.
• Capable of taking, listening, watching, and interacting with various age groups of children.
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents/members, children, coworkers, and management.

Responsibilities

• Greet children and parents/members on arrival.
• Assist with jacket, shoes, snacks, or toys within reach.
• Organize and initiate playtime activities.
• Gently monitor and manage children's behavior.
• Clean and sanitize play equipment daily and maintain a tidy nursery.
• Wash linens and pillows daily and sanitize bathrooms.
