Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Fort Oglethorpe, GA is seeking a compassionate childcare assistant to supervise and care for children in a small nursery setting. You will greet families, assist with daily tasks, and ensure safety and cleanliness during shifts.

This role requires CPR, First Aid and AED certification, patience, and clear communication with parents and staff. Shifts are 4 hours, Monday through Saturday, with varied start times.

Qualifications

• Current certification in infant/child CPR, First Aid and AED.
• Be enthusiastic, alert and able to monitor multiple children.
• Good communication with parents, members, children, co-workers, and management.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet children and parents on arrival and assist with daily tasks.
• Supervise play, monitor behavior, and ensure safety.
• Clean and sanitize play equipment, rooms, and bathrooms.
• Disinfect desks, cribs, and furniture; manage diaper changes as needed.
• Communicate any concerns to supervisors and parents promptly.
