Job description

Infant Teacher or Assistant Teacher – 25-30 hours/week

St. Therese Early Learning Center in Deephaven, MN, is in search of a joyful, caring, and energetic infant room teacher or assistant teacher to work in a nature-based, play-based program. A St. Therese Early Learning Center teacher is responsible for creating a positive learning environment where students grow cognitively, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Infant teachers will work cooperatively with the directors and other staff members to provide for an efficient, safe, and loving environment for children in keeping with the mission of the organization.

Qualifications

Must meet DHS requirements for assistant teacher or teacher. AA or BA in Early Childhood or Elementary Education preferred. The ideal candidate for this position recognizes the value of learning through play and has a passion for working with infants, demonstrates strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple infant schedules, and appreciates community and collaboration. A successful record of classroom management and experience and a solid foundation in the Catholic faith are key.

Hours

Hours are 12:00 - 5:30 Monday - Friday. Additional hours available if desired.
