Job summary

You will collaborate with families and a dedicated early childhood team, implement developmentally appropriate activities, maintain clean classrooms, follow health and safety protocols, and document each child’s progress for ongoing growth.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings such as daycare centers or preschools.
• Knowledge of child development principles and infant care best practices.
• Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid.
• Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety.
• Strong classroom management skills combined with compassionate child supervision techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members in a professional manner.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus; training in special education is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development in infants.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences.
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure a secure setting.
• Support individual needs by adapting activities for children with disabilities or special requirements in accordance with best practices in special education.
• Document developmental observations and maintain accurate records of each child's growth and achievements.
