Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, CDA/early education coursework or related degree, and ideally 1 year of child care teaching experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• College-level coursework in early childhood education, CDA, or an associate or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is required.
• 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is required.
