Position Overview
Responsible for developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, understanding each child's individual needs, and fostering a safe, nurturing environment. Ensures activities are coordinated and adapted to meet each child's learning style, relating positively and respectfully to all children.

Qualifications by Teacher Level

  • Teacher I: High school diploma or equivalent; registration with MO Family Care Safety Registry within 15 days; 1 year child care experience preferred.
  • Teacher II: CDA, 9 college credits, or degree in Early Childhood/Education; 12 hours of child-care training annually; 2 years experience preferred.
  • Teacher III: BS in Early Childhood or related; 1 year relevant experience; registration with MO Registry within 15 days.
