Job summary

Mile High Early Learning in Denver, CO is hiring an Infant Teacher for our Early Head Start program with a signing bonus. You will co-lead a classroom of eight infants or toddlers and work with a teaching team to tailor the curriculum to each child’s needs.

Qualifications

• AA or BA in ECE or Child Development or BA/MA in an unrelated field with a Teaching License in ElEd/ECE/SpEd.
• CDA I/T (Child Development Associates) or PDIS Level II with ECE credentials.
• Ability to work full time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening meetings.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead a classroom of eight infant or toddlers.
• Collaborate as a teaching team to individualize curriculum for children.
• Support children's social and emotional development.
• Complete developmental assessments and screenings.
• Conduct home visits twice per year and parent–teacher conferences.
• Hold conferences with parents and coordinate home visits with the teaching team.
• Encourage parent involvement in the classroom.
• Create a safe, healthy learning environment and supervise child safety.
• Communicate with coworkers and families in a warm, professional manner.

Salary: $23.20 - $27.88/ hour (depending on position and qualifications)

Bonus: Signing bonus eligible: $1,000 to $2,000 depending on credentials and employment status

Mile High Early Learning has an opening for an Infant Teachers at our Anna Jo Garcia Haynes center location in Denver.

Requirements:

• AA or BA in ECE or Child Development OR

Other preferred qualifications;

• Bilingual - Spanish, Arabic, Amharic, or Somali (a plus)
