Job summary

All Around Children in Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking an Assistant Infant Teacher to support the lead teacher in providing nurturing care for infants aged 6 weeks to 12 months. You will help design age-appropriate activities, communicate with families, and collaborate with a dedicated team to foster early development.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and may favor applicants with a CDA/AA in Early Childhood Education.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with families and staff.
• Ability to work with a team of teachers in a licensed center.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for infants.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering infant learning experiences aligned with development stages.
• Support lead teacher and help create classroom lesson plans.
• Maintain a safe, healthy learning environment and adhere to licensing standards.
• Collaborate with staff to plan daily activities for 6 weeks–12 months.
• Communicate progress and milestones to families; participate in meetings.
