Infant Teacher and Toddler Teacher - Head Start - Portage, WI

Renewal Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and nurturing Infant and Toddler Teacher to join our Early Head Start Program in Portage, WI. This full-time, weekday position involves working with infants from birth to 36 months, implementing developmentally appropriate activities based on the Frogstreet Curriculum, and supporting children's growth across cognitive, physical, social-emotional, and language domains.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create and implement developmentally appropriate curricula tailored to each child's needs, laying the foundation for school readiness.
2. Promote development in cognitive, physical, social-emotional, and language areas.
3. Collaborate with families to support each child's growth and well-being.
4. Provide a nurturing, engaging, and safe classroom environment.
5. Supervise and guide Classroom Assistants, if assigned.
6. Support children's health, nutrition, and safety in line with Head Start standards.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, or a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential in Infant and Toddler Care.

Preferred:

• 1+ year of experience in early childhood education or childcare.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate and nurturing approach to working with young children.

Salary Range: $40,151.00 - $46,151.55 per year

Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday

Ability to commute to Baraboo, WI 53913, and to relocate there before starting.
