Job summary

The Goddard School of Darien (Noroton Heights), CT is seeking an energetic Infant Teacher for our brand-new Darien facility at 450 Heights Road. You will lead developmentally appropriate activities and support young learners with a nurturing, engaging program.

Eligible candidates hold an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field; a CDA is welcomed. At least 2–5 years in the ECE field is preferred. Competitive benefits are offered to support growth and retention.

2. Classroom Management:
   
   
   
   • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
   
   
   • Manage daily routines and transitions smoothly
   
   
   • Address behavioral issues with positive guidance and support
   
   
   
   


3. Family Communication:
   
   
   
   • Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and daily activities
   
   
   • Conduct parent-teacher conferences and provide regular updates
   
   
   • Encourage family involvement and participation in school activities
   
   
   
   


4. Health and Safety:
   
   
   
   • Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the classroom and common areas
   
   
   • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures
   
   
   • Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being
   
   
   • Adhere to Infant Safety policies per state regulations

Additional Requirements:

• Successfully completion of state-required pre-service training
