Magical Beginnings in Leominster, MA is hiring an Infant Teacher to support infants during critical developmental milestones. You will work closely with a co-teacher to implement developmentally appropriate activities in a warm, safe setting.

This role focuses on nurturing the child’s emotional, social, and cognitive growth within our center-based program. Responsibilities include daily routines, safety standards, and active communication with families.

Qualifications

• EEC Infant/Toddler Certification, CDA, or equivalent degree and experience.
• Daycare center experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

As an Infant Teacher, you'll create meaningful connections with children and families while providing a warm, responsive environment where every baby feels safe, loved, and encouraged to explore the world around them.

• EEC Infant/Toddler Certification, CDA, or equivalent degree and experience (required)
• Daycare experience in a center-based or private school setting
• A nurturing demeanor and a love for infants and their development
• Flexibility to work an 8-hour shift within the operating hours of the school, including opening and closing shifts
• Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the children
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to stand up to 90% of the workday
• Attentiveness, strong time management, and a team-focused mindset
• Collaborating with your co-teacher to prepare curriculum, lesson plans, and materials
• Providing responsive, individualized care that supports each infant's development through gentle, age-appropriate activities
• Keeping parents informed and building positive relationships with children and families
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly classroom environment
• Assisting with daily routines, including bottles, meals, diapering, and naptime, tailored to each infant's individual feeding and sleeping schedule
• Tracking children's progress and completing required assessments
• Maintaining your EEC-required professional development hours and PQ registry
• Helping infants build a sense of security, trust, and early communication skills
