Job summary

Biltmore Church is seeking a Teaching Assistant: Infant - Pre-K in Arden, NC to support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered classroom for young children. You will assist with learning activities, daily routines, and family communication while helping each child grow physically, cognitively, linguistically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.

Qualifications

• Experience in licensed childcare with children infant to pre-k preferred.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn about child development and safety.
• Effective communication with children, families, coworkers, and leadership.
• Capable of maintaining supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain active supervision and required teacher-to-child ratios.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in safe, nurturing classroom activities.
• Support daily routines, learning experiences, and classroom organization.
• Communicate with families and academy leadership about children’s progress.
• Observe and document children's activities and development.
