The Nanny Smith in Maplewood, NJ is looking for a part-time, live-out nanny to care for a 5-month-old child. The position is based in the family home with a Monday and Thursday schedule from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm and pays $25–$30 per hour.

The ideal candidate has recent infant experience and at least 5 years in child care, is playful, mobile, attentive, and engaged. A second language is a plus but not required. The family offers paid time off and flexible days for the right fit.

Qualifications

• Recent infant care experience with at least 5 years of overall child care experience.
• Ideal nanny: playful, mobile, attentive and engaged with the baby.
• A second language is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• No pet care is required.
• During nap times, tend to the child’s laundry, vacuuming, basic tidying after the infant, washing toys.
• Doing the parents’ laundry would be a huge plus but is not required.
