Job summary

Cadence Education is seeking an Infant Teacher to nurture infants, support Montessori learning, and grow toward Montessori lead teacher credentials. The role emphasizes caring for young children, collaborating with a team, and engaging families with open communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• CDA or Associate’s Degree, or some college coursework.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Human Development.

Responsibilities

• Play a supporting role in the classroom under Montessori teachers’ direction.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly classroom aligned with Montessori philosophy.
• Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed.
• Engage in positive redirection to children and maintain a constructive learning environment.
• Communicate with parents on routine health and care matters.

Our next cohort of Infant/Toddler Montessori Certification is approaching, and we are looking for infant teachers who want to become certified Infant/Toddler Montessori lead teachers. Associate in Training Responsibilities

• Play a supporting role in the classroom under the direction of trained, Montessori teachers and work amongst a team of teachers;
• Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom environment in accordance with Montessori philosophy;
• Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed;
• Engage in positive redirection to children and maintain a positive learning environment;
• Communicate with parents as needed on routine matters regarding the health, and care of students.
• Enroll in the Montessori Certification cohort starting (Infant/Toddler - birth to three)

Basic Requirements

• High school diploma
• Minimum Requirements: CDA or Associate’s Degree, or some college coursework
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Development)
