The Pillars, part of Lantern Learning Group, seeks a dedicated preschool teacher to join our faith-based learning centers in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. You will lead activities that foster physical, social, and academic development while maintaining a caring, faith-inspired classroom environment.

Responsibilities include guiding daily routines, promoting healthy habits, and ensuring safety and supervision across early learning activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Meet HHS minimum education and experience requirements.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred and beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Lead activities designed to promote physical, mental, and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and field trips.
• Relate to children with courtesy, respect, acceptance, and patience.
• Enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining classroom safety and order.
• Conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
• Assimilate arriving children into the school environment by greeting them, helping them remove outerwear, and selecting activities of interest to them.
• Attend to children's basic needs as age-appropriate, such as feeding them, dressing them, and changing their diapers.
• Teach proper eating habits and personal hygiene.

Formation
