BrightPath Kids in Liberty Township, PA is seeking a dedicated early childhood educator to supervise children aged 6 weeks to 12 years in one classroom. You will implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and collaborate with families to support each child’s learning.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field OR CDA credential OR Career Pathway Level 3 OR Bachelor's Degree in any field
• 1 year of licensed child care experience preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Ability to work within regular operating hours
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years in one assigned classroom
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards
• Curate programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles
• Maintain a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore
• Partner with families to create plans to provide the best care and education for their children
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field OR Child Development Associate (CDA) credential OR Career Pathway Level 3 required OR Bachelor's Degree in any field
• 1 year of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred
• Strong customer service skills
