Job summary

BrightPath Early Learning & Child Care Career Center in Cincinnati is seeking a Lead Teacher to partner with families and fellow teachers to provide a nurturing, home-like setting for children aged 6 weeks through 12 years, in line with NAEYC guidelines.

You will develop developmentally appropriate curricula, plan activities aligned with children's interests, and communicate regularly with families to support each child’s learning and well-being in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or CDA required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Experience in licensed child care facility is a plus.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of children aged 6 weeks–12 years in assigned classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum per NAEYC standards.
• Curate programs and activities based on children's interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, safe, clean environment for exploration.
• Partner with families to plan for each child’s care and education.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians.
