Infant Lead Teacher - Experience in an infant classroom is required along with a Child Development Associate (CDA) or a degree in Education or a related field. You will create lesson plans and maintain documentation to provide an educational, safe, emotionally supportive environment for the children. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Parent communication is key.

Pay Rate: $17.00/hr. Placement in this range depends on professional development levels for education and training. Additional incentives may be available for special duty assignments. Responsibilities for an Infant Lead Teacher

  • Responsible for the care and supervision of children in the classroom, building relationships and a caring environment.
  • Develop age-appropriate and differentiated classroom schedules, lesson plans, and environments to support preschool readiness and individual learning.
  • Complete screenings and ongoing assessments to monitor child progress and needs.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of infant guidelines and ITERS through lesson plan implementation.
  • Maintain documentation for services, progress reports, and attendance.
  • Build positive relationships with families and the community.
  • Work collaboratively with teacher assistants, staff, and the director.
