Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for infants (0–18 months).
• Provide constant supervision in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans for cognitive, emotional, and physical growth.
• Provide personalized attention to meet each infant’s needs and pace.
• Maintain daily logs (food intake, diaper changes, milestones) and communicate with parents.
• Foster secure attachments and encourage initial social interactions.
• Participate in staff meetings, events and professional development.

Job Title:

Infant Classroom Lead Teacher

Montessori Torah Academy teachers establish a welcoming classroom where each child feels cared for and respected. The learning environment is student-centered and self-paced, allowing children to explore their own interests while mastering skills and knowledge. Our Montessori program lays the groundwork for academic success by emphasizing critical thinking, problem-solving, independent focus and working in collaboration with others.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for infants (ages 0-18 months)
• Provide constant supervision to ensure a safe environment, complying with all health and safety regulations.
• Implementing age-appropriate activities and lesson plans that foster cognitive, emotional, and physical growth.
• Providing personalized attention to meet each infant’s unique needs, personality, and developmental pace.
• Maintaining daily logs of activities, including food intake, diaper changes, and developmental milestones, and communicating with parents about their child’s day.
• Helping to foster secure attachments and encouraging initial social interactions between infants.
• Actively participate in staff meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities.

Required Skills/Abilities:
