Job summary

The Learning Experience Cascade is seeking an experienced Infant Lead Teacher to guide the infant classroom in Grand Rapids, MI. You will deliver nurturing, individualized care during tummy time, sensory exploration, and milestone-focused activities, helping babies learn and grow at their own pace.

You will implement the LEAP Curriculum, collaborate with assistant teachers, and maintain strong family communication in a full-time, weekday schedule.

Qualifications

• Must meet Michigan requirements to serve as Lead Caregiver.
• Infant classroom experience preferred.
• CDA or ECE credential preferred.
• Previous professional childcare experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily routines and learning experiences of the Infant classroom.
• Provide responsive, individualized care based on each child's needs.
• Support feeding, diapering, sleep, tummy time, and developmental routines.
• Implement The Learning Experience's LEAP Curriculum.
• Introduce infants to language, music, movement, sensory experiences, and play.
• Observe and document developmental milestones.
• Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers.
• Build trusting relationships and communicate regularly with families.
• Maintain a clean, safe, nurturing, and organized classroom.
• Follow Michigan licensing and center requirements.

Infant Lead Teacher - Early Childhood Education

The Learning Experience - Cascade

Grand Rapids, MI

Pay: $17-$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM

The Learning Experience - Cascade is looking for an experienced Infant Lead Teacher who understands just how much learning happens during a baby's first years.

From tummy time and sensory exploration to first sounds, movements, and milestones, you'll create a nurturing classroom where infants receive individualized care while being encouraged to explore and develop at their own pace.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the daily routines and learning experiences of the Infant classroom

Qualifications
