Job summary

Acquire4Hire is seeking an energetic assistant teacher to support a lead teacher in caring for infants aged 6 weeks to 6 months. You will help communicate with parents, manage feeding and sleep schedules, and maintain a safe, clean classroom.

Responsibilities include creating age-appropriate plans, supervising children, and keeping thorough daily routines. This role requires teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to participate in ongoing trainings.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a team player and willing to work with others.
• Should be able to complete relevant trainings.
• Must pass a health screening.
• Ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, talk to and hear voices at many levels.
• Vision: see up close and at distance, colors, peripheral and depth perception.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Work 7-4 and 8-5 shifts.

Job description

Assist the lead teacher in caring for infants ages 6 weeks‑6 months. They will partner with the lead to communicate with parents, manage the feeding and sleeping schedule of each child, and maintain a safe and clean classroom.

What You'll Do

• Stay on top of children's schedules with feedings, nap times, and diaper changing
• Keep the classroom organized and clean

Requirements

• Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.
• A specific vision ability will be required including the ability to see up close and up to a certain distance, to see colors, have peripheral vision and depth perception.
