Job summary

Tree of Knolwedge Learning Center is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support infants in a licensed childcare setting. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and the ability to pass background checks; prior childcare experience is a plus.

Shift options are Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm or 11:00am–6:00pm, with compensation of $13–$14 per hour based on education and experience. The organization offers competitive pay, trainings, benefits, and an open-door culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass all background checks.
• Childcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Substitute as needed across classrooms and cover staff breaks.
• Demonstrate patience and positive interactions with children, parents, and staff.
• Work as part of the team under the lead teacher's direction.
• Maintain physical ability to work around young children (sit, stand, walk, run, stairs).
• Lift up to 40 lbs and meet physical demands of the role.
