Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Glen Mills, PA is hiring an Infant Teacher Assistant to work side-by-side with teachers and families, providing a warm, safe environment for children from 6 weeks to 12 years, in line with NAEYC guidelines.

You will support instruction, decorate classrooms as needed, keep spaces clean, engage children in activities, and communicate with parents. No classroom experience required—paid training is provided. This full-time role includes holiday pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks–12 years.
• Assist teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorate inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintain a warm, clean environment that supports children's growth.
• Interact with children to encourage participation in activities.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians.

What will you be doing?

As an InfantTeacher Assistant, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care, according to NAEYC guidelines. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years.
• Assisting teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorating inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintaining a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Interacting with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
