Join us as an Infant and Toddler Teacher at The Goddard School

We are seeking experienced and dedicated early childhood teachers to inspire and educate our infants and toddlers. Responsibilities include supervising children, changing diapers, engaging in play and learning activities, collaborating with colleagues, and communicating with parents.

Our focus is on each child's individual growth, fostering independence, social-emotional skills, love for learning, and communication. We promote positive relationships, celebrate diversity, and value inclusion and belonging.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and collaborate on hands-on activities based on children's interests and skills.
• Implement developmentally appropriate curricula.
• Create learning opportunities that encourage curiosity, exploration, and critical thinking.
• Maintain a supportive classroom environment that promotes cooperation and positive interactions.
• Model respectful interactions with children from diverse backgrounds and respond to their individual needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least three years of teaching experience.
• Degree in education preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development and preschool educational methods.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Excellent communication and instructional skills.

Schedule:

• Full-time, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, plus a one-hour lunch.

Educational Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Certifications:

• CPR Certification (preferred).
• Child Development Associate Certification (preferred).
