Alefbet Preschool at Congregation Beth Shalom in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Infant Teacher to lead a classroom for 1-year-olds, fostering a warm, engaging, and nurturing environment.

You will mentor teaching staff, communicate with families, ensure safety and compliance, and participate in ongoing professional growth within our mission-driven, community-focused school.

Qualificações

• CDA preferred with a high school diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year professional childcare experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain).
• Must pass fingerprinting and background check and meet Georgia state licensing requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the classroom for infants, creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum aligned with early learning standards.
• Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development; mentor assistants.
• Maintain clear communication with families through daily updates and conversations.
• Ensure compliance with school policies, licensing requirements, and health and safety standards.
• Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and accurate records; collaborate with leadership.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuous improvement efforts.

Conhecimentos

We are seeking a kind, dedicated, and energetic Infant Teacher / 1 year old to lead a classroom and help cultivate a positive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment. In this role, you will guide both children and your teaching team, ensuring a classroom culture that supports exploration, growth, and strong foundational development. • Lead and manage the classroom, creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

  Supervise and support assistant teachers and classroom staff, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with families through daily updates and conversations.
• Ensure compliance with all school policies, licensing requirements, and health and safety standards.
• Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and accurate records.
  Collaborate with school leadership and staff to support a positive and cohesive school culture.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

• CDA preferredwith a high school diploma, or a higher degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional childcare experience perferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain).
• Must pass fingerprinting and background check and meet Georgia state licensing requirements.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday: 7.30 am- 4.30 pm
