Job summary

CCS Construction Staffing is seeking Commercial Journeyman Pipe Fitters for a commercial construction project in Indianapolis, IN. Experienced copper fitters who can work independently after receiving instructions are encouraged to apply.

Candidates should be proficient in the assembly, installation, and layout of piping systems for heating, cooling, water, and drainage using copper, steel, and other materials. A background check and drug test are required prior to starting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial pipefitting experience.
• Experience with copper pipe installation, layout and brazing/soldering.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Able to work independently after receiving initial direction.
• Must pass background check and drug test (BGC & DT).
• Must provide own tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, boots).
• Must have reliable transportation to the jobsite.
• Strong focus on safety, craftsmanship and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Install and layout piping systems for heating, cooling, water and drainage using copper, steel and other materials.
• Read blueprints and schematics, measure and cut pipe to spec.
• Assemble, install and complete piping work per project specs and safety rules.
• Work on a commercial construction project in Indianapolis, IN.
• Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to schedules.
