Job summary

CCS Construction Staffing is hiring Pipe Fitters for a commercial project in High Point, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are newly out of trade school or have at least 3 years of experience in pipe fitting.

A certification is preferred but not required — the key is a strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn and perform safely on the job. Trade school graduates and mid-level candidates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Trade school graduates or minimum 3 years of experience in pipe fitting.
• Certifications are a plus but not required.
• Must have own hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots).
• Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-focused.
• Must be able to take direction and work well with others.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Background check and drug test required before start.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with layout, measuring, cutting, and assembling pipe.
• Installing pipe systems, supports, and hangers.
• Working with carbon steel, copper, or PVC (depending on site needs).
• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Following all site safety procedures.
