THE PRACTICE:

This role aligns with our Manufacturing & Operations practice, under the Production & Operations capability.

Manufacturing & Operations professionals assist clients in achieving digital transformation across manufacturing and operational assets throughout their lifecycle, unlocking efficiency and effectiveness through domain expertise in consulting and technology.

Digital Production & Operations Systems Engineers specialize in Manufacturing Modernization, focusing on Execution systems (MES/MOM), Automation, and Plant data models.

YOU ARE:

An ambitious Manufacturing Systems (MES) Specialist prepared for new challenges. As industries move toward digitalization, MES plays a central role in manufacturing excellence.

THE WORK:
  1. Lead design, development, documentation, and implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  2. Design, author, develop, and configure Electronic Batch Records (EBR).
  3. Implement MES solutions and integrate with ERP and control equipment.
  4. Document MES configurations and validate EBRs.
  5. Oversee complex systems involving MES development.
  6. Collaborate with management and users to define needs and design value-added solutions.
  7. Partner with clients and teams to determine suitable solutions.
  8. Supervise team activities related to these tasks.
  9. Analyze business information needs and ensure appropriate solutions.
  10. Gather user requirements related to manufacturing activities control and recording.
  11. Respond to client proposal requests.
  12. Manage and develop client relationships.
  13. Participate in global system implementations.
  14. Manage small to medium teams and projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Travel may be required; the extent varies based on business and client needs.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • At least 1 year of experience with Rockwell FactoryTalk PharmaSuite (FTPS) MES solutions in a highly automated Life Sciences manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (minimum 3 years of work experience). If an Associate’s Degree, at least 6 years of work experience.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • Knowledge of FDA and GMP guidelines.
  • Understanding of Life Sciences validation processes.
  • Experience with software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and support methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative work style.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and follow up on actions.
