Job description

Amca is building America’s new industrial base. Since the 1990s, our ability to build new aviation and military systems and maintain the ones we already have has eroded. Today, the gap between what the nation needs to produce and what it is capable of producing is the largest it has been in generations.

To help close that gap, Amca rapidly develops and manufactures new critical components and subsystems required to build and sustain the planes, military vehicles, and core infrastructure America needs. Today, we operate seven factories nationwide, including our advanced prototyping and testing headquarters in El Segundo, and deliver avionics, hydraulic, and electrical components for platforms such as the F-35, F-16, F/A-18, 737MAX, 787, A320neo, A321, Mk-48, and M1 Abrams.

Overview

The Industry Solutions Analyst sits at the intersection of the executive team, our customers, and our investors. This is a role for someone who can take a dense technical or financial subject and turn it into a clear proposal, deck, or briefing that reads well and holds up under scrutiny. You will create memos and relevant material for a range of audiences, including government, investors, customers, and internal teams, often on tight timelines, and you will need to move between them without losing quality on any of them.

Responsibilities
  • Own government proposal development end to end, including:
    • Reading and interpreting RFPs, RFIs, and solicitation instructions, then building compliant responses against them
    • Coordinating inputs from engineering, program management, and finance to assemble complete submissions
    • Managing proposal schedules, compliance matrices, and submission deadlines
  • Build and refine presentation material for a range of audiences, including government, customers, investors, and internal teams
  • Draft written material for the executive team, including:
    • Memos, briefs, and updates tailored to the relevant audience
    • Internal-facing educational content that explains the business, its markets, and its programs to employees
    • One-off narratives, talking points, and briefing documents as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
  • Two or more years in a proposal, consulting, corporate strategy, engineering, or executive-support role where you produced customer-facing or investor-facing material
  • Strong writing and critical thinking skills, with the ability to shift register between a formal government submission and a plain-language explainer
  • Ability to understand engineering concepts and financial detail well enough to translate them accurately for non-specialist audiences
  • Proficient in designing slides and the ability to make a deck look finished, not templated
  • Organized and deadline-driven, with the judgment to manage multiple high-stakes deliverables at once
  • Familiarity with government proposal processes and FAR-based solicitations is a strong plus
  • A technical or quantitative background, or demonstrated ability to get up to speed quickly on engineering and financial subject matter, is a strong plus
