Job summary

East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) seeks an Industry Partner Coordinator to expand its Registered Apprenticeship Program by building and sustaining strategic employer partnerships across diverse industry sectors.

The role focuses on identifying new partnership opportunities, promoting apprenticeship pathways, and serving as the primary liaison among EVIT, employer partners, and apprenticeship stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, education, workforce development, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a skilled trade field such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, welding, or a related industry may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• Experience in employer engagement, business development, workforce programming, career services, apprenticeship administration, or skilled trades industries.
• Experience with registered apprenticeship programs or work-based learning initiatives, or skilled trades workforce development programs is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Arizona labor market, regional workforce needs, and economic development initiatives is preferred.
• Understanding of Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, apprenticeship pathways, and public education systems is preferred.
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with local and regional employers across diverse industry sectors.
• Identify new partnership opportunities and promote the value of apprenticeship pathways.
• Serve as the primary liaison between EVIT, employer partners, and apprenticeship stakeholders.
• Support and expand EVIT's Registered Apprenticeship Program.
