Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and seven years of relevant experience.
• Advanced ability to draft, negotiate and finalize industry research agreements.
• Experience negotiating complex sponsored research agreements with industry/non-profits.
• Strong understanding of IP, publication rights, data rights and export control.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and finalize complex industry-sponsored agreements with DOE compliance.
• Advise stakeholders on interpretation of terms related to IP, publication rights, data rights and confidentiality.
• Manage interface between internal teams and external partners during negotiations.
• Resolve contractual issues and ensure timely approvals and execution.
• Develop metrics for partnerships proposals and agreements portfolio.
