Job summary

East Kent Colleges Group is seeking an Industry Liaison Officer to bridge industry needs with student opportunities at our Sheppey College campus. You will secure and monitor work placements across vocational areas and serve as the main contact for employer relations, supporting planning and delivery of employer events and visits.

You will be highly organised with excellent communication, both spoken and written, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

About The Role

Join us as an Industry Liaison Officer and play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between industry needs and future talent.

EKC Group are seeking an Industry Liaison Officer to join the Group based at our Sheppey College. As an Industry Liaison Officer (ILO) at EKC Group you would be responsible for securing and monitoring progress of work placements in varied vocational areas for students and to act as the main point of contact for employer relations for these areas. This can include supporting the planning and implementation of employer events for organising employer visits for students.

Salary: £15.151 up to £16,599

Hours per week: 37

We are seeking to appoint an Industry Liaison Officer who has excellent interpersonal skills and who possesses excellent communication skills both verbal and written. You will be highly organised and be able to prioritise work whilst applying a flexible and responsive approach to work demands.

You will have an inquisitive and analytical approach to work. You will be able to display an attention to detail, be able to work independently working on your own initiative and as part of a team. A level 3 qualification in a relevant subject is desirable, alternatively experience of working in a relevant sector and a willingness to obtain a relevant level 3 qualification will be considered.

If you have experience of working in this field along with a passion for sharing your knowledge and expertise with the future generation this position will be ideal for you.
