Job summary

Gong is hiring a Commercial Account Executive focused on the Industry Expansion vertical to drive new business growth by acquiring net-new customers in financial services, healthcare, consulting, manufacturing and energy sectors.

You will own the full sales cycle with a heavy emphasis on outbound prospecting and building a pipeline from scratch. The role requires closing net-new logos at scale while working in a hybrid model near the Lehi area.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of new business/net-new logo closing experience combined with outbound SDR/BDR experience; prior sales to Financial Services, Healthcare, Consulting, Manufacturing or Energy.
• SaaS and enterprise software experience with net-new deals at $20k–$100k+.
• Strong outbound prospecting into greenfield territory; build your own pipeline from scratch.
• Proven track record of achieving new business sales goals (President's Club, Rep of the Year, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Source and manage a pipeline of net-new prospects through proactive outbound prospecting, from lead to close
• Provide an exceptional customer experience
• Clearly articulate and demonstrate our value proposition, creating excitement and enthusiasm among prospects
• Build strong relationships with net-new logos to drive them through the sales cycle to close
• Run and implement pilot programs
• Maintain weekly sales forecast and achieve new business quota quarterly
