Role: Industry Advisor - Healthcare Industry Unit

TCS has an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, innovative and passionate individual who wants to grow with us. We are currently seeking a Strategic Industry Advisor - Healthcare - to join our team.

This leader will engage healthcare executives to provide key industry insights, understand their challenges, and offer industry focused and compelling solutions/services. He/she will work collaboratively to bring advisory services, technology solutions, & innovation to our clients. This leader is responsible for earning new business, guiding & leading our teams in new business pursuit for payers and providers to advance business and clinical outcomes. Your knowledge and connections in the healthcare sector will be paramount for your success. We are looking for candidates with industry leading deep domain expertise, technical proficiency and experience of having worked with Health Systems (Priority 1) and Healthcare Payers

  • Create a clear market development strategy within the Healthcare Market for providers (priority 1) and payers while delivering on the Sector’s sales, growth, and revenue objectives.
  • Provide leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives with an emphasis on sales and growth.
  • Assist TCS leadership in driving the Healthcare Market’s business plan to achieve market objectives that align with the sector and firm’s strategies.
  • Achieve growth goals nationally by building on existing business opportunities and securing new clients to expand wallet-share.
  • Advise and develop consulting offerings for the healthcare , including: information technology strategy, clinical and business applications, data and analytics,
  • Develop business partnerships with healthcare focused companies such as EHR vendors, specialized vendors and infrastructure partners.
  • Advise clients on technology strategic plans for anticipating opportunities, analyzing competitive posture, and developing/implementing successful programs based on that analysis.
  • Coach/mentor consultants across the healthcare practice including emerging talent.
  • Oversee the development of go-to-market solutions, templates and best practices for our key offerings and expansion in new areas
  • In partnership with TCS delivery teams, provide strategic domain expertise/guidance to identify and design a comprehensive set of solutions to meet the industry needs
  • Participate in client interactions, RFP responses to position industry differentiating POVs, solutions and innovations
  • Build partnerships with horizontal technology practices to develop industry specific wrappers for horizontal solutions
  • Analyze healthcare data to provide insights into trends and opportunities and share expertise on industry trends to guide organizations through important decisions

Qualifications

  • Experience with healthcare provider information systems (mandatory) and payers (preferred)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in health system IT, informatics, clinical or business operations in healthcare provider segment.
  • 5+ years’ experience working with Healthcare C-level executives to influence and define healthcare IT strategy roadmaps and architecture/blue prints
  • Minimum 15 years of leadership experience within the Healthcare industry or related field.
  • Well-connected in the Healthcare Provider marketplace with a reputation as an expert leader with past clients and peers.
  • Strategic thinker who can connect vision and strategy to tactical execution.
  • Strong market knowledge with financial, analytical, and business acumen.
  • Knowledge/experience in areas that include security, AI/Gen AI, EHR, imaging, data analytics, contact center, cloud
  • Substantial demonstrated experience in healthcare technology and modernization of existing legacy solutions

Salary Range: $218,200 - $286,400 a year
