Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, invites you to join the Industry 4.0 Technical Development Program in Louisville, KY. Qualifications

  • Pursuing or completion of a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in engineering (Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Science)
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher at graduation
  • Prior relevant work experience or internship/co-op
  • Algorithm prototyping and coding skills
  • Familiarity with industrial controls, preferably Allen Bradley
  • Understanding of CAD package, preferably SolidWorks
  • Familiarity with industrial robots, preferably Fanuc

Responsibilities

  • Complete four (4) six (6)-month rotational assignments in controls automation, robotics, test system engineering, and factory simulation
  • Collaborate with leaders to achieve rotation goals and objectives and gain hands-on manufacturing experience
  • Identify and implement technical and process improvements
  • Participate in project ideation, development, and execution
  • Demonstrate analytical problem-solving skills and autonomy
  • Lead cross-functional teams, influencing various business levels
  • Engage in regular feedback sessions and diverse training programs
