Job summary

Houlihan Lokey, a leading global investment bank, is seeking a Vice President in the Industrials group in Minneapolis. You will lead on M&A sell-side transactions, manage multiple workstreams, and contribute to growth through client development and strategic advisory.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of investment banking experience (MBA acceptable) with deep knowledge of accounting, valuation methodologies, and financial modeling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant investment banking experience or MBA graduates with at least 4 years of investment banking experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, valuation methodologies, and applied financial theory.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to lead teams and interact effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and interested in building long-term client relationships.
• Academic or professional training in finance, accounting, or related disciplines strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and analysis of historical and projected financial information.
• Oversee financial modeling, valuation analyses, and transaction structuring.
• Manage due diligence processes and coordinate transaction execution teams.
• Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, and marketing materials.
• Support new business development initiatives, including pitch creation and client strategy development.
• Maintain active communication with clients, prospective clients, and professional advisors.
• Mentor and supervise junior team members while ensuring high-quality analytical output.
