Job summary

Michelin at the American Synthetic Rubber Company (ASRC) in Louisville, KY is seeking an experienced Materials and Process Industrialization Engineer to drive evolution of production processes, improving quality and efficiency in a fast-paced plant environment.

The role collaborates with Central R&D and Industrialization teams and with local operations to implement new processes, analyze risks, and maintain standards through data-driven methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and internal software systems.
• Familiarity with quality control, statistics, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Manage new processes and material evolution within the site with cross-functional teams.
• Define and implement local risk analysis with action plans and trials.
• Assist operations with methodical problem-solving skills.
• Improve plant metrics: non-conformity, energy use, productivity, waste, and machine availability.
• Update process standards with central and local teams.
• Use digital tools for simulation, data cleaning, analysis.
• Collaborate with networks to improve industrialization and tech robustness.
• Participate in site HAZOP, FMEA, and quality planning analyses.
