Job summary

JCB, a global leader in heavy equipment, is seeking a Wet Painter for its Pooler, GA location. The role focuses on industrial wet paint application, surface preparation, and finishing of skid steer loaders and components, ensuring quality and durability in a high-volume manufacturing setting.

The candidate should have 1–2 years in industrial or automotive painting, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain finish quality under production demands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of industrial/automotive painting experience.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Surface preparation and paint application on SSL machines and components.
• Load and unload parts; maintain workflow and takt time in paint line.
• Operate and maintain paint spray systems and related equipment.
• Visually inspect painted components for quality and finish consistency.
• Apply CI/lean principles to improve coating processes and reduce waste.
• Follow safety, OSHA, and environmental guidelines and wear PPE.
• Perform demasking, finishing, and post-paint handling as needed.
