Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of welding experience in an industrial setting.

• Must pass weld test as determined by site requirements.
• Must read blueprints and isometric drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Must wear PPE in designated areas.
• Must work at heights and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Welds components in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions according to layouts and procedures.
• Selects materials and plans layout, fabrication, and welding.
• Reads blueprints and drawings to plan procedures.
• Operates cutting equipment and hand tools.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces for flaws.
• Load, transport, and unload tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Follow all quality and safety requirements.
