Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass general aptitude/basic math skills test.
• Ability to lift at least 35 lbs multiple times per day.
• Must pass welding coupon test.
• Must pass written welding test.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding set ups and operate GMAW and SAW equipment.
• Set welding heat, travel rate and wire feed for quality welds.
• Load wire and change gas or flux as required.
• Load and unload fixtures; inspect parts for quality.
• Read job prints and maintain tolerances as shown on prints.
• Direct and assist helpers; maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Perform preventive maintenance and tool housekeeping as necessary.
