Qualifications

• Basic measuring tools and arithmetic for everyday adjustments.
• Ability to read work instructions and keep required records.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and layouts.
• Experience with welding materials and practices is essential.
• Ability to lay out, drill, and tap holes and operate welding equipment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Prepare stock for welding.
• Produce welded fabrications per engineering drawings and specifications.
• Assist in fabrication design reviews.
• Operate the pipe driller, shower polisher, weld-a-round, and welding equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and proper documentation.
