Job summary

Bender CCP, Inc. is seeking an experienced Welder to join our Operations team in Kent, WA. You’ll perform welding, fitting, fabrication, and repairs on pumps, turbines, compressors, shafts, and other industrial rotating equipment.

The role requires 5+ years of heavy industrial welding, MIG/TIG/Flux-Core skills, and the ability to read blueprints. Work Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM with compensation of $30–$40 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of welding experience in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, fabrication, or similar environment.
• Hands-on experience with MIG, TIG, and Flux-Core welding.
• Ability to successfully pass a 6G weld test.
• Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols.
• Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and various alloys.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, welding symbols, and work orders.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and Flux-Core welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and various alloys.
• Fit, align, fabricate, and weld components to required dimensions and tolerances.
• Perform welding in multiple positions, including 6G pipe welding.
• Prepare surfaces through cleaning, grinding, and other required processes.
• Set up and operate welding machines, positioners, grinders, and fabrication equipment.
• Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and defects.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions.
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas.
