Donaldson in Nicholasville, KY is seeking a Team Member (Welder) to join an on-site 2nd shift welding team. You will fabricate industrial air filtration systems from sheet and structural steel, set up welders, read blueprints, and perform quality checks.

This role requires welding experience or certifications, blueprint literacy, and the ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes. The shift runs Monday-Thursday 3 p.m.–1 a.m.

Qualifications

• Must have welding experience and/or welding certifications.
• Read blueprints and welding instructions.
• Fit/tack weldment assemblies.
• Operate industrial forklifts and overhead cranes.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate different types of welders.
• Weld together and detail equipment assemblies out of sheet steel and structural steel.
• Read blueprints and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Complete daily tasks with hand tools following work instructions.
• Perform material handling and transportation of product.
• Complete quality checks and paperwork for recordkeeping.
• Comply with DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies.
