Job summary

Donaldson is seeking a Team Member (Welder) for our Nicholasville, KY location. This 2nd shift onsite role runs Monday through Thursday, 3 p.m. to 1 a.m., and requires collaborative work to fabricate Mobile Solution systems in an innovative team setting.

You will read blueprints, set up welders, and weld sheet and structural steel while maintaining safety and quality documentation. Prior welding experience or certifications are required, with DOT/HAZMAT policies followed.

Qualifications

• Must have welding experience or welding certifications.
• Read blueprints.
• Operate industrial fork trucks and overhead cranes.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Weld and assemble equipment from sheet steel and structural steel.
• Set up and operate different types of welders.
• Read blueprints and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Use tools to complete daily tasks and ensure quality checks.
• Material handling and transportation of product.
• Comply with DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
