MPW Industrial Services is seeking a dependable Technician to support industrial water purification operations in the Wilkes-Barre, PA area. The role involves servicing, regenerating tanks, conducting quality testing, and on-site work with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

You will work in shop and field environments, handle monitoring equipment, log data accurately, and perform maintenance tasks while following all safety procedures and PPE guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; prior industrial, mechanical, or water treatment experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work weekends/overtime as needed.
• Ability to perform manual labor.

Responsibilities

• Regenerate industrial water purification tanks per procedures.
• Perform integrity testing on tanks, valves, and plumbing.
• Measure and log water quality using monitoring equipment.
• Troubleshoot system performance and identify root causes.
• Maintain service records and documentation.
• Load/unload and transport equipment safely using forklifts (training provided).
• Follow safety procedures and PPE rules.
• Communicate status with supervisors and team.
• Support shop operations and equipment readiness.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
