Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Service Technician for Water Equipment on the day shift (6 am–6 pm, Pitman schedule). You will perform maintenance, testing, and mobilization of water treatment systems at customer sites and train operator personnel.

The role involves inventory management, documentation, and troubleshooting of PLCs, VFDs, and related equipment, with on‑call rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years in service, maintenance or operations in an industrial environment; OR an Associate/Bachelor’s in STEM with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation; access credentials for customer sites may be required.
• Willing and able to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing, heights, and confined spaces; PLC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on water treatment equipment to support uptime.
• Prepare, test, and mobilize equipment during peak demand; train technician and operator personnel.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and manage replenishment orders; document activities per SOPs.
• Operate and optimize water treatment systems (filtration, RO, ion exchange, etc.) at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot motors, PLCs, VFDs, valves, pumps; conduct analytical testing (pH, turbidity, chlorine, etc.).
• Provide system status summaries to customers and participate in on-call rotations.
