Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Savannah, GA is seeking an skilled wastewater operator to manage daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the bakery’s industrial wastewater pretreatment system.

You will ensure compliance with the facility’s discharge permit with routine sampling, pH control, and grease management tasks. Preferred qualifications include 1–3 years in industrial wastewater treatment, knowledge of pretreatment regulations, and the ability to interpret data trends while working safely

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/trade certification a plus.
• 1–3 years in industrial wastewater treatment preferred.
• Knowledge of wastewater pretreatment regulations and sampling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the wastewater treatment system and pumps.
• Maintain logs of pH, flow, sampling events.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Coordinate with Industrial Maintenance for repairs and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with discharge permits and company policies.
