Job summary

Reworld Waste, based in Honolulu, Hawaii, is hiring a Utility Operator to perform a variety of essential tasks in a fast-paced industrial setting. You will ensure equipment is charged, manage refuse in the pit, load ash, and supervise trucks to maintain smooth tipping floor operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred (not required).
• Must have the ability to work a rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is charged for safe operation and maintain fuel levels in boiler hoppers.
• Mix and level refuse in the industrial pit.
• Load ash using various types of industrial equipment.
• Supervise and observe delivery trucks hauling materials to the tipping floor.
• Operate front end loaders to manage refuse delivered to tipping floor.
• Inspect delivered refuse, waste and materials and determine disposal process.
• Monitor inbound/outbound traffic for delivery trucks.
• Perform additional duties to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.
